About the Role
You will design and introduce warehouse automation systems using production-engineering expertise. You will plan processes and lines, balance capacity, identify bottlenecks, manage multiple vendors, and improve operating decisions through logic and algorithms.
Requirements
- Experience in production engineering, process design, line design, or equipment installation in manufacturing; or experience improving processes or productivity
- Experience with transport equipment or robot installation
- Experience designing and optimizing lines across multiple processes
- Knowledge of simulation and data analysis
- Knowledge of PLCs or control systems
- Interest in software and automation
Responsibilities
- Design processes and lines combining conveyors, AGVs or AMRs, and robots
- Analyze process balance, bottlenecks, and capacity
- Manage multiple vendors
- Launch, tune, and troubleshoot systems on site
- Translate operational decisions into logic and algorithms
