About the Role

You will lead and mentor prototype engineers and technicians while remaining hands-on with electrical integration and fault diagnosis. You will own prototype bring-up, establish test and repair processes, design harnesses and test jigs, plan lab resources, and improve reliability, test efficiency, and manufacturability.

Requirements

  • Hands-on electrical engineering background in rapid prototyping and custom hardware debugging
  • Knowledge of low-voltage power, mixed-signal circuits, motor drives, connectors, sensors, and electromechanical systems
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and bench instrumentation
  • Experience reading schematics and PCB layouts
  • Experience with board-level rework, repair, harnesses, and cable assemblies
  • Experience leading or mentoring engineers or technicians
  • Ability to document procedures, test plans, diagnostics, and lessons learned
  • Ability to collaborate across electrical, mechanical, firmware, and software engineering

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop prototype engineers and technicians
  • Set priorities, allocate work, and raise technical and process standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in prototype humanoid robots
  • Lead failure analysis and share findings with hardware and software engineers
  • Own electrical bring-up for prototype builds
  • Collaborate on prototype design, assembly, and design-for-test
  • Define and enforce test procedures, troubleshooting guides, and repair runbooks
  • Design and document cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, and test jigs
  • Plan lab schedules, resources, tooling, equipment, and spares
  • Improve processes and products to reduce downtime and increase test, repair, and manufacturing efficiency
  • Communicate status, risks, and lessons learned to engineering leadership

Benefits
