About the Role
Inspect and test electrical components, subassemblies, installations, and finished products to verify quality and compliance. Perform process audits, prepare testing and commissioning reports, document standards and non-conformances, verify regulatory requirements, calibrate electrical test equipment, and collaborate with safety, engineering, and manufacturing teams. Travel may be required up to 100% depending on project needs.
Requirements
- Journeyman Electrician with 5+ years of industry experience or 7+ years in electrical assembly or inspection
- Experience with low- and medium-voltage electrical installations
- Working knowledge of IEC, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA testing specifications
- Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, HMI, MCC, and UPS
- Ability to identify electrical components, hardware, and equipment
- Ability to read, understand, and trace electrical schematics
- Basic computer skills with Word and Excel experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willingness to participate in a required drug and alcohol program
- Ability to travel up to 100% depending on project needs

- Inspect electrical installations, subassemblies, and finished goods
- Audit electrical assembly and wiring processes
- Prepare testing and commissioning reports
- Document electrical quality standards and specifications
- Verify compliance with approved standards and drawings
- Document material non-conformances
- Collaborate with safety, engineering, and manufacturing teams
- Verify compliance with regulatory and commercial codes
- Assist with electrical test equipment calibration
- Support the quality assurance process
