About the Role

You will execute financial and valuation analyses for mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising transactions. You will build financial models, conduct due diligence and industry research, prepare client and marketing materials, participate in client meetings, support relationship development, improve processes, and mentor interns and analysts while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Prior investment banking experience required.
• Two or more years of previous Analyst experience, or equivalent, strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate a proven track record in university studies.
• Acquire the SIE Exam, Series 79, and Series 63 within 150 days of employment for United States roles.
• Complete Level 3 FCA exams within 90 days of commencing employment for United Kingdom and European Union roles.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, mathematical, writing, verbal, and computer skills.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of accounting and finance.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Travel approximately 5%.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial and valuation analyses for debt and equity transactions.
• Build financial models and apply comparable-company, precedent-transaction, and discounted-cash-flow valuation methods.
• Conduct due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation for potential and live transactions.
• Identify and escalate potential deal issues.
• Draft management presentations, proposals, client presentations, and marketing materials.
• Participate in client meetings and drafting sessions.
• Research industries and sectors and improve BIC content.
• Streamline processes and propose efficiency improvements.
• Support client relationship development and anticipate client information needs.
• Analyze macro factors affecting client industries and investment banking products.
• Mentor summer interns and subsequent analyst classes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Perform additional requested responsibilities.
