ARQ serves travelers, investors, and professionals across Latin America who need access to global currencies and financial markets. Users can hold digital dollars and euros, receive and send international payments via dedicated US and European account details, invest in US stocks and ETFs, and spend globally with a card at market conversion rates. The platform is available across Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, and Brazil.

About the Role
You will serve as the certified investment advisor and regulatory officer for the Mexican investment advisory entity. You will oversee the advisory framework, policies, regulatory reporting, CNBV interactions, suitability evidence, and approvals for investment content. You will also translate regulatory requirements into practical product specifications with product, engineering, and legal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Hold a current AMIB investment-advisory certification or be willing to obtain one
- Have 5+ years of investment advisory, wealth management, or investment-services compliance experience at a CNBV-regulated entity
- Know the Ley del Mercado de Valores and Disposiciones de Servicios de Inversión
- Have hands-on experience with investor profiling and suitability frameworks
- Be able to turn regulation into practical product requirements with product and engineering teams
- Speak Spanish and professional English
Responsibilities
- Act as the certified investment advisor accountable for customer recommendations
- Own investor profiling, product profiling, suitability, and recommendation reasonableness frameworks
- Own core advisory policies, conflicts-of-interest processes, and disclosures
- Lead CNBV information requests, supervisory visits, and remediation
- Manage regulatory reporting and RAI obligations, including Anexo C and annual financial information
- Translate regulatory requirements into product specifications with product, engineering, and legal teams
- Review and approve customer-facing content, model portfolios, and investment communications
- Monitor advisory activity and maintain evidence of suitable, documented recommendations
- Contribute to the wealth roadmap and future licensing in Mexico
