About the Role
You will own strategy, control, and execution for contract manufacturer and 3PL inventory operations. You will mitigate excess and obsolete inventory, conduct audits and reconciliations, build inventory-health reporting, and support cost accounting through build validation, invoice checks, and discrepancy resolution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or material program management within electronics manufacturing or big tech.
- Experience managing contract manufacturers and 3PL warehouses, including physical audits, three-way reconciliations, and consigned inventory controls.
- Ability to perform excess and obsolescence root-cause analysis, drive disposition strategies, and build inventory dashboards and KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Review slow-moving and aged inventory to identify excess and obsolescence risks and drive disposition decisions.
- Analyze demand waterfall reports and investigate root causes of excess and obsolescence.
- Mitigate inventory exposure through reallocation, reuse, rework, returns, cancellations, resale, or scrap.
- Coordinate consigned inventory requirements and maintain auditable inventory transaction records.
- Conduct on-site audits and physical counts at contract manufacturer and 3PL sites.
- Lead three-way reconciliations among NetSuite, 3PL records, and contract manufacturer reports.
- Build and maintain inventory dashboards and KPIs.
- Deliver inventory health reports and recommendations to management.
- Partner with Finance on inventory valuation, reserves, write-offs, and audits.
- Validate contract manufacturer build reports, consumption data, invoices, and charges.
- Resolve BOM, cost, scrap, yield, and inventory discrepancies with Cost Accounting and contract manufacturers.
