About the Role
You will detect fraud, fake accounts, bots, and user clusters in milliseconds using real-time signals and ML modeling. You will own streaming architecture and real-time logic, develop large-scale pipelines, build adaptive ML models and heuristic logic, optimize event-processing latency, and integrate intelligence into platform APIs, products, and real-time SDKs.
Requirements
- 4+ years as an engineer, data scientist, ML engineer, or similar
- Experience handling high-volume data ingestion in production
- Experience building large-scale models end to end, including data collection, feature engineering, modeling, and monitoring
- Curiosity and creativity to interpret raw event streams and perform digital forensics
- First-principles thinking and ability to investigate underlying meaning and ground truth
- In-person availability in Austin, Texas
Responsibilities
- Create, test, and deploy real-time signal collection and modeling architecture to separate good and bad users
- Research device, network, and behavioral features
- Develop infrastructure for large-scale pipelines while enabling fast iteration
- Build ML models and heuristic logic that adapt to shifting attack vectors
- Optimize latency for instant scoring
- Integrate intelligence with platform APIs for immediate customer feedback loops
- Embed intelligence into the core product suite and real-time SDKs
