About the Role

You will deliver investment accounting and reporting services and respond to client priorities. Depending on your level and experience, you will support or oversee monthly accounting close, lead initiatives, strengthen controls, and coordinate capabilities to meet client objectives. You will apply accounting and derivative knowledge to reporting, reconciliations, audits, regulatory deliverables, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Investment accounting experience in investments or financial markets commensurate with Associate or Vice President level
• Knowledge of insurance companies or statutory accounting
• Familiarity with product-specific financial reporting requirements and disclosures
• Experience with operational improvement, accounting controls, risk mitigation, and reporting-process enhancement
• Fluent verbal and written English and Spanish
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of investment products, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate regulatory and accounting implications to support client compliance under US GAAP, IFRS, and US statutory accounting
• Apply derivative concepts and accounting to investment accounting processes, analysis, reconciliations, reporting, and client deliverables
• Support business growth, new-client implementations, and client retention in the insurance sector
• Improve investment-reporting production and control processes
• Partner with vendors on accounting and reporting solution development priorities
• Serve as a client contact on accounting matters
• Contribute to team training, regulatory reconciliations, audits, and control enhancements
