About the Role

You provide technical support for desktop systems in a mixed physical and virtual environment. You troubleshoot Linux workstations, applications, peripherals, networking, audio-visual issues, hardware failures, and performance problems while maintaining the computing environment and improving Python-based automation.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of desktop support or related experience
Knowledge of PC hardware and computer internals
Linux workstation troubleshooting skills
Linux command-line knowledge
Git familiarity
Hardware failure troubleshooting skills
Hardware monitoring and performance-tuning experience
Data center connectivity knowledge
Understanding of TCP/IP networking
Ability to lift 40–50 pounds
Ability to work weekend and evening shifts when required
Computer science or IT educational background preferred
