About the Role
You will design and implement secure multi-cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure. You will embed security controls in infrastructure as code, containers, and CI/CD pipelines; manage identity, cloud-security tooling, detection, and incident response; maintain SIEM pipelines; and deliver security projects, policies, dashboards, and alerts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 3–5 years of cloud security, infrastructure security, or related experience
- Knowledge of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks, and best practices
- Proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure security services
- Experience securing hybrid AWS/on-premises or multi-cloud environments, including IAM
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Knowledge of containerization security implications
- Knowledge of network security concepts and protocols
- Experience with Python or Bash for automation and tool development
- Located in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Secure mission-critical hybrid-cloud and on-premises applications
- Develop infrastructure-as-code templates with embedded security controls
- Conduct security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure
- Implement and manage CSPM, CWPP, and CASB tools
- Manage identities and roles across cloud and hybrid environments
- Monitor and remediate infrastructure for regulatory compliance
- Define secure container standards and maintain Kubernetes security
- Integrate security practices and code scanning into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and respond to cloud and hybrid security events and incidents
- Maintain SIEM data pipelines for alerting
- Build security operations infrastructure using Python, Terraform, and configuration management
- Develop security dashboards, alerts, policies, standards, and procedures
- Own security projects from issue identification through implementation
