About the Role
You will design housings, enclosures, and user-facing robot components that balance aesthetics, ergonomics, and brand identity. You will create sketches, renderings, and 3D models; collaborate with engineering disciplines; build and evaluate prototypes; and refine designs for manufacturability, cost, and technical requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong portfolio demonstrating aesthetic sensibility and technical understanding of materials and manufacturing
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or Fusion 360 and rendering tools such as KeyShot or Blender
- Understanding of manufacturing processes including injection molding, sheet metal, CNC, and 3D printing
- Ability to communicate design decisions to a technical audience
