About the Role

You will own the privacy incident-management lifecycle, including detection, triage, containment, remediation, reviews, metrics, and documentation. You will lead incident coordination, manage follow-through on corrective actions, analyze trends, partner with Legal and technical teams, and improve privacy-event detection and training.

Requirements

• Experience leading or building incident-response programs at a technology company
• Experience driving systemic improvements from incident data
• Ability to participate in on-call incident-response responsibilities
• Experience building and scaling operational processes
• Experience driving cross-functional accountability without direct authority
• Analytical skills in incident trend analysis, metrics reporting, and data-driven prioritization
• Experience coordinating technical and non-technical stakeholders during incidents

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end privacy incident-management program
• Serve as incident commander for privacy incidents
• Establish incident commander rotations
• Track and drive completion of post-incident action items
• Analyze and report incident trends, patterns, and root causes
• Lead cross-functional preventive improvements
• Lead post-mortems and retrospectives
• Partner with Privacy Legal on breach assessments and communications
• Maintain incident documentation, playbooks, runbooks, and training materials
• Improve privacy-event detection with detection engineering
• Define and report incident-management KPIs
• Support privacy-awareness training and tabletop exercises
