About the Role
You will take ownership of the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, while also keeping the office running smoothly. You'll draft and manage employment contracts, references, and other HR documents, and maintain personnel master data and HR systems. You'll independently steer the full recruiting process, from needs analysis through job postings to contract negotiation and hiring. You'll be the go-to contact for employees on HR-related questions, support managers through performance reviews, and help prepare payroll in cooperation with the external tax office, while ensuring compliance with labor law and internal policies. Beyond HR, you'll organize office logistics, manage external service providers, coordinate orders and mail, plan team events and workshops, host guests and partners, and oversee access management and workplace safety documentation.
Requirements
- Completed degree or commercial apprenticeship with a focus on HR, office management, or comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in HR, ideally also in office management
- Good knowledge of labor law and administrative HR processes
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High service orientation and enjoyment working with people
- Very good German and English skills, written and spoken
- Confident handling of digital HR tools
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
- Create and manage employment contracts, references, and other HR documents
- Maintain personnel master data and HR systems
- Independently steer the entire recruiting process from needs analysis through job postings to contract negotiation and hiring
- Serve as the point of contact for employees on HR-related questions
- Prepare, support, and follow up on performance reviews and support managers in performance management
- Handle preparatory payroll accounting in cooperation with the external tax office
- Ensure compliance with labor law and internal policies
- Contribute to HR projects and the development of company culture and employer brand
- Organize and ensure smooth daily office operations
- Manage external service providers
- Coordinate orders, mail handling, and general administration
- Plan and organize team events, workshops, and internal events
- Host guests and external partners
- Oversee access management, including access permissions and keys
- Coordinate workplace safety measures and maintain required documentation and training records
