About the Role
You will install, integrate, and administer HPC Linux clusters and high-speed networks. You will diagnose issues, coordinate vendor resolutions and changes, build management tools, document procedures, analyze performance, and participate in on-call support and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field
- 5+ years of Linux systems experience
- Experience in classified environments
- Knowledge of security policies, compliance frameworks, NIST, and DISA STIGs
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance
- Ability to pass a pre-placement drug test and participate in random drug testing
- Visa sponsorship is not available
Responsibilities
- Install, integrate, and administer HPC Linux clusters and high-speed networks
- Diagnose system operational problems
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve hardware and software problems
- Plan and coordinate hardware and software changes through change-management processes
- Port and write system-management tools
- Document system-administration procedures
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and off-hours maintenance windows
- Integrate systems into the NCCS environment and analyze system performance
