About the Role
You will build and maintain software for offloading, storing, manipulating, and accessing robot data. You will manage on-premise and cloud compute and storage, optimize data transmission and storage across the data pipeline, support AI data workflows, and provide production infrastructure support.
Requirements
- Software engineering fundamentals
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 4 years of professional full-time experience building reliable backend systems
- Experience with Linux and command-line tools
- Experience with Python
- Experience using and managing data stores including Postgres, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain tools and software for robot-data access and management
- Architect and manage storage and compute across on-premise and cloud environments
- Implement data transmission and storage solutions across the data pipeline
- Support new AI data workflows with researchers
