About the Role
You will lead coordinated vulnerability disclosure and the CNA function, set disclosure policy and timelines, and engage external security researchers. You will ensure findings inform evaluations and policy, represent technical cyber-safety work publicly, and build the processes, tools, and future analyst capacity needed to scale.
Requirements
- Experience operating or participating in a coordinated vulnerability disclosure program
- Experience coordinating disclosures involving researchers, vendors, and open-source maintainers
- Experience managing a disclosure queue with triage and response timelines
- Experience handling sensitive or embargoed vulnerability information, including TLP-marked material
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
Responsibilities
- Lead the CVE Numbering Authority function for vulnerability disclosure
- Build and maintain partnerships with security researchers and threat-intelligence organizations
- Represent disclosure work at security conferences and in the vulnerability-research community
- Maintain familiarity with vulnerability-database ecosystems
- Lead external technical engagement on cyber safety topics
- Ensure disclosure findings inform evaluations and policy
- Hire and mentor a future analyst
- Implement tooling and AI-assisted triage processes
