About the Role
You will lead the local risk management function and maintain the enterprise risk framework for OKX Türkiye. You will assess and monitor risks, challenge controls, report to senior management and the Board, oversee resilience and third-party risks, and coordinate remediation with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Capital Market Activities Level 3 Licence and maintain it in good standing
- Have approximately ten years of relevant risk management experience in financial services or capital markets
- Know the Turkish capital markets regulatory framework and the Capital Markets Board
- Demonstrate expertise in enterprise risk, operational risk, outsourcing governance, operational resilience and financial risk
- Have experience presenting to Boards and senior committees and engaging regulators
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management or a related discipline
- Speak fluent Turkish and English
- Use AI tools for risk analysis, reporting and decision-making
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the local risk function
- Maintain the enterprise risk management framework, policies and procedures
- Lead enterprise risk assessments and Risk and Control Self-Assessments
- Maintain the risk register and challenge control effectiveness and residual risk
- Develop risk appetite, limits and key risk indicators
- Monitor exposures and escalate breaches and material concerns
- Present risk reports to senior management, the Risk Committee and Board
- Provide independent oversight of technology, cybersecurity, data and crypto asset custody risks
- Oversee intra-group outsourcing and third-party risk
- Oversee capital, liquidity, market, credit and counterparty risk controls
- Oversee operational resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery readiness
- Assess risks from new products, business changes and crypto market developments
- Coordinate audit and regulatory findings and ensure timely remediation
