About the Role
As Head of LiveOps you will lead the most crucial division of the business, managing high-impact titles. You will drive growth by creating and executing robust product strategies, ensuring operational excellence, and cultivating a high-performing team culture. You will play a key part in the company's hybrid transformation, optimizing LiveOps, monetization strategies, and product practices through innovation and automation.
Requirements
- 7+ years in mobile game or app development, with significant experience in LiveOps and hybrid casual titles
- Demonstrated success in designing and scaling LiveOps systems, including retention strategies and monetization models
- Experience implementing AI products or tools to enhance LiveOps and production workflows
- At least 5 years in leadership positions, known for building high-performing teams and providing clear direction
- Ability to move from high-level strategy to tactical execution, balancing long-term goals with short-term needs
- Skilled at handling ambiguity, shifting priorities, and working in fast-paced environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear directives
- Solid understanding of the mobile gaming ecosystem and ad tech
- Genuine excitement for crafting music-based game experiences that resonate with players
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Responsibilities
- Formulate and lead the division's strategy, aligning with company goals, market insights, and team capabilities
- Identify gaps in resources or skills and ensure they are filled effectively to support team success
- Drive the creation of new features, market expansion strategies, and monetization methods for top-performing titles
- Stay ahead of AI trends and integrate them to streamline production and optimize LiveOps
- Apply AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency in production, LiveOps, and operational processes
- Lead product strategies that allow for cross-game reusability and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build infrastructure and tools for scalable operations and automation
- Guide and mentor a diverse cross-functional team including product managers, game designers, engineers, data analysts, and monetization experts
- Lead by example to uphold company core values and culture across the team
- Recruit and develop talent while maintaining a high-performance, innovative, and collaborative environment
- Develop and implement effective monetization strategies focusing on the hybrid casual model
- Drive user retention strategies and optimize monetization mechanics to maximize game revenue
- Apply Scrum principles and methodologies to manage day-to-day operations
- Ensure seamless execution of projects from ideation through to release, optimizing resources and budget allocation
- Establish and track key performance indicators for game teams, projects, and the division
- Use KPIs to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making
- Act as a key collaborator in shaping company strategy, offering insights and feedback to senior management
- Help co-create, maintain, and promote company culture aligning it with growth and long-term vision
