About the Role

You will provide technical leadership for hardware systems supporting photonic AI infrastructure. You will define and develop PCBAs, lead system integration and validation, and maintain engineering documentation. You will coordinate across firmware, photonics, packaging, and software to resolve dependencies and guide engineering decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• 12 or more years of relevant industry experience
• Track record of bringing complex hardware systems from concept through production
• Knowledge of VRMs, high-speed SerDes, PCIe, Ethernet, SPI, QSPI, I3C, I2C, and JTAG
• Experience leading multidisciplinary electrical, mechanical, and firmware development and troubleshooting
• Capacity to comply with U.S. export control laws

Responsibilities

• Define and develop hardware systems for photonic AI infrastructure applications
• Own hardware systems development from concept through production
• Define, develop, and review PCBAs against system electrical, power, and interface requirements
• Lead integration, verification, and validation through production release
• Coordinate with firmware, photonics, packaging, and software teams
• Maintain schematics, design reviews, test plans, and validation reports
• Research components and technologies and contribute to technology roadmaps
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers
