About the Role
You will support reliability verification for flight hardware from concept through production. You will perform environmental and stress testing, analyze failures and field data, participate in design reviews and FMEA, develop corrective actions, and assess materials and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a related field
- 1–3 years of hardware, materials, or reliability-engineering experience
- Understanding of materials science, electronics, or mechanical systems
- Familiarity with reliability concepts and environmental testing methods
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Cross-functional collaboration skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Support environmental and stress testing
- Assist with failure analysis and root-cause investigations
- Analyze test results and field data for failure modes and reliability risks
- Incorporate design-for-reliability practices with design engineers
- Participate in design reviews and FMEA activities
- Support corrective actions and process improvements
- Review materials, manufacturing processes, and component selection
- Use data-analysis tools for reliability assessment and reporting
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier functions
- Travel occasionally for testing or supplier engagements
