About the Role
Build and ship core product features primarily in Rust, working from architecture through development to release. Implement wallet integrations and cryptographic primitives, work within large Rust codebases, occasionally implement React frontend pieces, use AI tools to accelerate development, and operate autonomously with minimal meetings.
Requirements
- Launched your own product or founded a company previously in a technical role
- Strong development experience building zero-to-one products
- Proven ability to write and architect high-quality Rust code
- Experience working in large and complex Rust codebases
- Understanding of web3 primitives including wallets and cryptography
- Product mindset with strong attention to user experience and detail
- Willingness to own features end to end, including occasional frontend work
Responsibilities
- Build features for Payy Network and Payy Wallet
- Lead feature development from architecture design to release
- Architect and write production-quality Rust code
- Maintain and extend large and complex Rust codebases
- Implement frontend components in React when needed
- Design and implement wallet integrations and cryptographic primitives
- Use AI tools to accelerate learning and development
- Deliver end-to-end product work autonomously
