About the Role

You will define sourcing strategies, build should-cost models, negotiate commercial agreements, and manage supply risk. You will partner on design-for-cost decisions, prepare suppliers for prototype through mass production, optimize planning, logistics, and warehousing, and lead corrective actions for supply, cost, and quality issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of sourcing or procurement experience for high-volume manufacturing
• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• Category knowledge of mechanical, electrical PCB/PCBA, or electro-mechanical components and assemblies
• Negotiation and contract-management skills
• Experience leading cross-functional workstreams with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and NPI teams
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, potentially on short notice

Responsibilities

• Define and own category strategies for key components and assemblies
• Achieve cost targets through should-cost modeling, market and commodity analysis, and negotiations
• Negotiate commercial agreements, piece prices, tooling, NRE, and contractual terms
• Manage supply chain risk across capacity, geopolitics, logistics, and supplier capability
• Partner with Hardware Engineering to reduce landed costs while meeting functionality objectives
• Drive supplier readiness for prototype, pilot, and mass-production builds
• Develop and execute planning, logistics, and warehousing strategies
• Escalate supply, cost, and quality issues and lead corrective action plans
