About the Role
You will investigate complex blockchain-related crimes, analyze on-chain activity, produce written reports and customer briefings, research emerging crime typologies, support sensitive partner investigations, and build industry relationships that expand attribution sources.
Requirements
- Practical experience with virtual currencies and blockchain analysis
- 3-5+ years of experience as an investigator or analyst
- Experience briefing senior stakeholders
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and prioritize critical issues
- Experience seizing stablecoins
- Comfort using AI tools for research and pattern identification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Investigate phishing, blockchain exploits, hacks, terrorism finance, account takeovers, scams, money laundering, ransomware, and other illicit blockchain activity
- Produce written reports and deliver customer briefings
- Conduct long-term research on on-chain crime categories
- Support sensitive and complex partner investigations
- Build and manage industry relationships to add attribution sources
- Participate in a formal weekly on-call rotation
