About the Role

You will serve as a subject matter expert on global cryptoasset sanctions. You will own sanctions coverage frameworks investigate exposure to sanctioned entities and evasion networks improve monitoring processes remediate coverage gaps mentor colleagues collaborate on platform capabilities and produce reports briefings blogs whitepapers and client-facing intelligence.

Requirements

  • Significant professional experience as an intelligence analyst investigator or compliance specialist
  • Independent subject matter expertise in global sanctions regimes
  • Practical knowledge of OFAC UK EU and UN frameworks
  • Experience designing or improving monitoring and alerting frameworks triage processes or investigation playbooks
  • Ability to identify systemic coverage risks and drive remediation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with blockchain analytics tools OSINT corporate registries and adverse media sources
  • Ability to apply AI tools to intelligence analysis research workflows pattern identification OSINT processing and written outputs
  • Experience researching sanctions evasion typologies
  • Experience with automated sanctions list monitoring cross-referencing tools or detection logic design
  • Technical understanding of cryptoassets blockchain architecture and on-chain analytics

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on global sanctions regimes
  • Own and document a coverage framework for sanctions designation regimes
  • Lead investigations into cryptoasset exposure to sanctioned entities jurisdictions and evasion networks
  • Define and evolve the sanctions monitoring operating model
  • Identify and remediate coverage gaps
  • Coach and mentor junior colleagues
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering and Customer teams to translate sanctions intelligence into platform capabilities
  • Produce intelligence reports briefings blogs whitepapers and client-facing content
  • Represent sanctions intelligence at industry events client briefings and regulatory engagements
