About the Role

You will own insurance programs from design and broker selection through placement, renewal, and budgeting. You will manage claims to resolution, drive loss-control improvements at operating and construction sites, analyze exposure data, prepare renewal submissions, and set insurance requirements in contracts.

Requirements

• Experience managing commercial property and casualty insurance programs
• Knowledge of property, construction, and liability insurance structures, placement, and pricing
• Experience managing large or contested claims with litigation counsel, TPAs, adjusters, and carriers
• Property risk-engineering field experience
• Experience preparing renewal submissions using complex exposure data
• Ability to review contractual insurance terms and identify coverage gaps
• Ability to explain insurance clearly to engineers, lawyers, and executives
• CPCU or ARM designation
• Experience in capital-intensive or construction-heavy industries
• Experience with construction insurance programs
• Experience with cargo or stock-throughput insurance

Responsibilities

• Own insurance programs from design and broker selection through placement, renewal, and budgeting
• Manage claims from first notice through resolution
• Drive loss control and property risk engineering across operating and construction sites
• Gather and analyze exposure data and deliver renewal submissions to underwriters
• Set and review insurance requirements in leases, EPC contracts, vendor agreements, and customer agreements
