About the Role
You will lead the compliance strategy for financial institution businesses and design, implement, and manage a scalable compliance framework. You will advise commercial and product teams, assess risks, strengthen due diligence, review high-risk contracts, and implement monitoring and reporting systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of compliance experience
- Expertise in cross-border payments, commercial banking, or fintech
- Experience in an international financial institution or financial institution business
- Expert knowledge of regulatory frameworks in Singapore, the United Kingdom, Europe, and North America
- Familiarity with AI-native tools and stablecoin settlement rails
- Expertise in international banking regulations, AML/KYC requirements, market conduct rules, and institutional products
- Experience implementing compliance technology solutions, automation, and transaction monitoring
- Ability to influence senior management and work with Legal, Risk, and Product teams
Responsibilities
- Design and operate a compliance framework covering AML/CTF, sanctions, KYC/KYB, and transaction monitoring
- Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams on compliance-by-design
- Translate global regulatory changes into commercial opportunities
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits
- Strengthen due diligence for third-party relationships
- Support reviews of high-risk commercial contracts
- Implement automated monitoring, trade surveillance, and reporting systems
