About the Role
You will manage GPU capacity through acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and incident response. You will build scalable capacity-management systems, orchestrate workload migrations, develop GPU operations automation, model capacity economics, and coordinate infrastructure changes with SRE, Infrastructure, and FDE teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in a high-growth environment
- Kubernetes expertise
- Experience with taints, cordons, node draining, and custom operators
- Production experience with Go or Python
- Financial modeling skills
- Knowledge of capacity reliability and cost trade-offs
Responsibilities
- Lead GPU pod acquisition, coordination, and maintenance
- Execute workload migrations and deployment drains
- Design and implement scalable capacity-management systems
- Build ROI models for GPU spending
- Partner with SRE, Infrastructure, and FDE teams on infrastructure changes
- Lead capacity-crunch incident response
- Develop automation to identify and repair unhealthy GPU nodes
