Gateway & Chain Operations Specialist
Tatum is a blockchain development platform that provides unified APIs, RPC nodes, and developer tools for building Web3 applications across multiple protocols.
About Tatum
Tatum helps developers build blockchain applications faster through a unified development platform. With it, users can access RPC nodes across multiple networks, integrate blockchain data APIs, receive real-time notifications, and manage digital assets. Tatum reduces complexity by providing a single interface for multiple blockchain protocols.
Skills
About the Role
You will own the operational management of Tatum Gateway, RPC providers, upstreams, and chain-related infrastructure. You will support onboarding of new blockchain networks, providers, and infrastructure services, test new chains and RPC interfaces, and verify third-party infrastructure options. You will regularly review provider reliability, pricing, SLAs, and operational fit, coordinate provider negotiations and cost checks, and monitor infrastructure costs, usage, profitability, and COGS impact. You will perform upstream cleanups, reconfiguration, routing updates, and provider changes, and help define provider routing logic, failover behavior, load balancing, and reliability improvements. You will create and maintain Postman collections, technical documentation, changelogs, and chain-related materials. You will help monitor infrastructure problems and production incidents, evaluate issues, and coordinate follow-up actions with Infrastructure, Support, Product, and Engineering teams. You will also support provider migrations, chain deprecations, customer communication, and operational readiness.
