You will build React and TypeScript front ends, develop Python or Node.js services, design durable APIs and relational schemas, and create AI-native capabilities involving LLM orchestration, retrieval, agents, and structured outputs. You will automate engineering and security workflows, apply secure coding practices, review code, and document architectural decisions. You will also deploy and operate containerized services, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring while translating specialist security knowledge into accessible software.

Requirements

  • Have at least 4 years of experience building and shipping production web applications across front-end and back-end systems
  • Demonstrate strong React and TypeScript skills, including state management, component architecture, and CSS
  • Have strong server-side development skills in Python, Node.js, or both
  • Have production experience designing REST or GraphQL APIs
  • Have relational database experience, preferably with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query performance, and migrations
  • Have experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, Docker, and self-configured CI/CD pipelines
  • Demonstrate experience integrating LLM APIs into production applications and using AI coding assistants
  • Understand common web vulnerability classes and their prevention
  • Communicate effectively in writing and work independently across time zones
  • Be willing to learn the technical aspects of blockchain and cybersecurity
  • Web3 development experience with ethers.js, viem, wallet integrations, RPC providers, Solidity, or Rust is preferred
  • Experience with agentic systems, Model Context Protocol, vector databases, or LLM evaluation frameworks is preferred
  • DevSecOps experience with infrastructure as code, secrets management, supply chain security, or automated CI security scanning is preferred
  • Cybersecurity, fintech, crypto, or sensitive-data product experience is preferred
  • Experience taking a product from zero to one on a small team is preferred
  • Open-source contributions are preferred
  • Knowledge of blockchain and DeFi trends is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build AI-native capabilities involving LLM orchestration, agentic workflows, multi-step workflows, retrieval, and structured outputs
  • Use AI coding tools while rigorously reviewing generated code
  • Automate internal engineering and security workflows
  • Write secure code using input validation, authentication, authorization, secure secrets handling, and dependency hygiene
  • Incorporate security review into the development and release process
  • Participate in code reviews as both an author and reviewer
  • Deploy and operate containerized services, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring
  • Take on-call ownership of production systems
  • Collaborate with security researchers, auditors, and product stakeholders
  • Translate domain expertise into software accessible to non-experts
