About the Role
You will build native Kotlin Android applications for performance-critical use cases. You will create Jetpack Compose interfaces, integrate APIs with backend systems, optimize responsiveness and latency, support controller input and targeting overlays, implement interfaces, and improve code quality through reviews and testing.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Android development experience
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
- Experience with MVVM/MVI, Kotlin Flows, and Jetpack Compose
- Experience with Android Studio and Gradle
- Knowledge of game-development concepts and input handling
- Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSockets
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and well-tested code
Responsibilities
- Design and develop native Kotlin Android applications
- Build and maintain Jetpack Compose interfaces
- Integrate APIs with backend systems
- Optimize applications for responsiveness, low latency, and smooth interactions
- Support joystick and gamepad input and visual targeting overlays
- Implement functional interfaces with product and UX/UI stakeholders
- Improve Android application architecture and performance
- Participate in code reviews and improve code quality
