Prometheus Research Labs develops open-source, composable DeFi smart-contract primitives and dApp interfaces for the Buttonwood Foundation. About the Role
Develop and maintain frontend applications and reusable UI components for DeFi protocols. Write robust test suites, author specifications, review pull requests, deploy usable user experiences, iterate on designs based on feedback, communicate clearly with teammates, and stay current on Ethereum and DeFi advancements.
Requirements
- Strong experience writing React web applications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong sense of ownership
- Able to operate autonomously and transparently
- Consistently deliver reliably within deadlines
- Can rapidly iterate designs based on feedback
- Interest or experience in decentralized permissionless technologies and DeFi
- Familiarity with the dApp frontend stack including React, GraphQL, Apollo, Ethers, and MetaMask
- Experience writing modular reusable component libraries
- Familiarity with React Hooks
- Experience with TypeScript in React
- Experience reading Solidity smart contract code
- Engagement with community and contributing to product vision
- General DeFi ecosystem experience
- Understanding of finance and tokenomics
- Preferred willingness to travel to Taiwan
- Preferred academic degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
