About the Role
You will design and test high-speed FPGA systems and embedded applications for space and national security products. You will translate system requirements into FPGA architectures, create simulations and test plans, document HDL designs, and support system integration and test engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of firmware design, integration, and test experience
- Experience with Xilinx-family FPGA designs
- Experience implementing and documenting FPGA designs using VHDL or SystemVerilog
- Experience with lab equipment
- Experience drafting technical documentation
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
- U.S. Person status for export-control eligibility
Responsibilities
- Design and test high-speed FPGA designs implementing high-throughput algorithms
- Design and test embedded applications using the Xilinx Zynq family
- Develop architectures compatible with embedded Linux environments
- Design and support top-level system simulations
- Translate system requirements into FPGA architectures
- Implement and document FPGA designs using HDL
- Support system integration and test engineering
- Develop camera systems using Camera Link and SpaceWire standards
- Create test plans to verify integrated performance
