About the Role
You will own the developer experience from awareness through activation and long-term engagement. You will create technical content, lead developer events and communities, improve onboarding, analyze API engagement, and represent developer needs to product, engineering, marketing, and GTM partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of developer experience, developer advocacy, or a technical community-facing role
- Hands-on familiarity with generative video and image models
- Engineering fundamentals, including API integration debugging and independent demo development
- Experience building developer programs or communities from scratch
- Experience driving developer community growth and API adoption
- Experience producing documentation, video demos, social content, and live technical presentations
- Knowledge of BI tools and data analysis
Responsibilities
- Produce tutorials, demos, sample repositories, and technical walkthroughs
- Own developer social content strategy
- Run developer newsletters, changelogs, and office hours
- Lead hackathons, sponsorships, and developer events
- Build and nurture a creative developer community
- Represent the organization at conferences, meetups, and online communities
- Surface developer sentiment, use cases, and market signals
- Optimize developer awareness, activation, adoption, and engagement
- Create onboarding experiences for API developers
- Analyze developer funnel metrics and API engagement
- Build feedback loops between developers and internal teams
- Define and track activation, API engagement, and community-growth metrics
