About the Role
You will work directly with customers on interpretability and computational biology research. You will define hypotheses, source data, build and iterate on tools, prototype methods for biological foundation models, collaborate on production-ready implementations, and support high-stakes research delivery.
Requirements
- PhD, MD, or equivalent biology experience
- Machine learning background
- Experience in computational biology or bioinformatics
- Familiarity with large models
- Python proficiency
- Experience with PyTorch
- Familiarity with interpretability, alignment, or safe model development
Responsibilities
- Conduct original interpretability and computational biology research with customers
- Lead research to interpret advanced biological foundation models
- Define problems and hypotheses for customer projects
- Source data and build research tools
- Prototype techniques to visualize and manipulate internal model structures
- Collaborate with engineering on production-ready tools
- Drive partnership delivery and help evolve research direction
