About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work at the intersection of product, engineering, and sales to architect customer deployments, build integrations and workflows, run technical demos, resolve infrastructure blockers, document product gaps, own technical onboarding, and create reusable deployment assets.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of full-stack or backend engineering experience
- Experience with Node.js, Python, Go, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in ambiguous, customer-facing technical environments
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or equivalent cloud infrastructure
- Ability to present technical solutions to CTOs
- Experience with MCP or AI-native tooling is a strong plus
- Familiarity with GPU compute workloads or AI inference infrastructure is a strong plus
- Prior experience at a PLG SaaS startup or as an early engineer at a dev tools company is a strong plus
- Multilingual communication skills are an asset
Responsibilities
- Embed with enterprise customers and high-growth startups to architect and deliver deployments
- Build custom integrations, deployment templates, and configure workflows
- Run live technical demos and resolve technical blockers in pre-sales cycles
- Translate customer pain into documented product gaps and work with core engineering on fixes
- Build reusable deployment templates, playbooks, and Skills marketplace contributions
- Own technical onboarding for strategic accounts end-to-end
- Participate in workshops, live demos, and technical content
- Deploy AI agents and workflows to multiply output
