About the Role
You will work directly with customer teams to discover high-value workflows, design and ship production AI systems, and measure business outcomes. You will integrate agents with customer systems, improve them through monitoring and evaluation, manage reliable rollouts, and leave customers able to operate what you build.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering, machine learning engineering, or data science experience
- Production coding and code-review experience with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience delivering customer or operator outcomes
- Experience building and operating AI-native workflows or agents in production
- Production reliability experience, including metrics, alerts, rollouts, and incident response
- Full-stack engineering experience across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and prompts
- Fluency in Japanese and English
Responsibilities
- Lead customer discovery and define success metrics
- Design and ship production agents, AI applications, and coding-agent workflows
- Launch initial versions quickly and harden them through rollout, monitoring, and iteration
- Own production quality, including tracing, evaluation, debugging, latency, and cost tradeoffs
- Integrate systems with customer authentication, data, workflows, and delivery systems
- Build tools, MCP servers, retrieval systems, rules, skills, CI gates, and evaluations
- Measure customer business outcomes
- Communicate tradeoffs and results to technical and business leaders
- Enable customer teams to operate delivered systems
- Turn customer learnings into reusable product patterns
