About the Role
The Finance Storytelling Lead will embed with Ramp's Finance team, develop original finance insights, write executive and customer content, build a repeatable storytelling system, analyze spend data, plan distribution, and establish the standard for finance content.
Requirements
- Exceptional writing ability
- Strong reporting instincts and structural judgment
- Understanding of finance, accounting, FP&A, corporate finance, treasury, payments, capital allocation, or finance-focused businesses
- Data literacy and experience using AI and trusted data for research and analysis
- Ability to write in an executive's voice
- Ability to work from rough notes without a perfect brief
- Based in New York City or willing to relocate
- Willingness to work closely with the team in person
Responsibilities
- Embed with Finance and identify stories in its work
- Write first-person posts, points of view, and customer stories
- Create original finance insights through research, surveys, and analysis
- Build a repeatable finance-storytelling system
- Identify trends in proprietary spend data
- Develop customer stories with Customer Marketing, Sales, and Communications
- Build audience and distribution plans
- Set the standard for finance content
