About the Role

You will own day-to-day finance and accounting activities while coordinating external partners and cross-functional teams. You will update forecasts, report unit economics, manage invoicing and month-end activities, ensure tax compliance, develop reconciliation tools, lead projects, manage risks, and communicate with investors and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Project planning and risk management
  • Analytical skills for evaluating compliance risk scenarios
  • External partner relationship management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or progress toward qualification

Responsibilities

  • Update finance forecasts
  • Establish and report key finance metrics and unit economics
  • Set up partner and collateral invoicing and monitor fund collection
  • Review month-end close and fund-flow accounting variances
  • Own Mastercard billing
  • Set up and own GST and VAT compliance processes
  • Support annual financial statements and tax returns
  • Develop fund-flow reporting and reconciliation tools
  • Manage investor responses
  • Support operations, project management, and stakeholder reporting
