About the Role

You will perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on robotic, conveyor, lift, motor, sensor, and material-handling equipment. You will troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, electrical circuits, control panels, HMIs, and electromechanical components; monitor system performance; document work in CMMS systems; collaborate on issue resolution; and follow applicable safety procedures.

Requirements

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in a related technical field
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience supporting automated systems
• Experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical circuitry, control panels, motors, sensors, and automation hardware
• Understanding of preventive maintenance, breakdown response, and equipment recovery procedures
• Ability to travel regionally within Massachusetts and occasionally across North America

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on automated systems
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems, electrical circuits, control panels, HMIs, and electromechanical components
• Diagnose and resolve equipment faults and operational disruptions
• Execute inspections, adjustments, component replacements, and equipment repairs
• Monitor system performance, alarms, logs, and operational data
• Support daily operations and maximize system uptime
• Escalate complex technical issues to engineers
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, controls diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Maintain maintenance records and troubleshooting documentation in CMMS systems
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
