About the Role
You will influence multi-vendor technical teams, identify installation risks, develop recovery plans, manage cost-quality-speed tradeoffs, and validate complex automation installations. This SkillBridge internship provides hands-on field leadership experience under high-pressure conditions.
Requirements
- Active-duty service member status with at least 180 days remaining before separation or retirement
- Written command approval from the first O-4 or equivalent in the chain of command
- Record of success and leadership experience during military service
- Relevant technical skills for applicable engineering or maintenance tracks
Responsibilities
- Influence multi-vendor, multi-discipline teams through technical credibility and communication
- Identify installation risks early
- Develop recovery plans when field operations diverge from the project timeline
- Manage daily tradeoffs between project cost, quality, and speed
- Conduct hands-on validation of complex automation installations, including adapter cells and controls
