About the Role

You will join a growing equity research team and gain deep exposure to the FinTech ecosystem. You will support coverage of FinTech companies and subsectors, build and maintain financial models including earnings forecasts, DCF and comparable valuations, and scenario planning. You will conduct in-depth company and sector research using public filings, proprietary data, and third-party sources, and analyze market, competitive, and regulatory trends. You will author high-quality research reports, investment recommendations, and thematic pieces. You will also communicate investment ideas to institutional clients, internal stakeholders, and sales and trading teams, prepare and present materials for client meetings, industry events, roadshows, and conferences, and serve as a point of contact for client inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • MBA or CFA designation (or candidacy) is a plus
  • 2-4 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, consulting, or asset management
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, accounting, and valuation methodologies
  • Familiarity with industry data platforms and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-starter attitude
  • Strong interest in and knowledge of the FinTech ecosystem
  • SIE, Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 exams passed (or willingness to obtain them promptly upon hire)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
