About the Role
You will own environmental and civil engineering for data-center site development, including stormwater, grading, drainage, erosion control, and environmental constraints. You will drive permitting, screen sites for development risks, manage consultant deliverables, and coordinate civil design with related scopes so packages are permit-ready and complete.
Requirements
- Experience taking industrial or large commercial sites through environmental permitting
- Experience preparing or directing SWPPP, delineations, and permit applications
- Experience screening raw land for development risk
- Experience working with regulators and securing approvals
- Experience managing AE and environmental consultants
- Ability to read and redline grading and drainage plans
- Experience sequencing environmental compliance with construction
- PE license in civil or environmental engineering
- Data center, solar, or heavy industrial site development experience
- Multi-state permitting experience
- Experience with Civil 3D or hydrology modeling tools
- Experience with karst, floodplain, or brownfield sites
