About the Role
You will build prototype and first-article autonomous-technology vehicles, create work instructions and engineering feedback, inspect contract-manufactured builds, test electrical and mechanical assemblies, and manage fixtures, BOMs, and inventory. You will maintain a safe, organized workspace.
Requirements
- 5+ years of R&D or development lab experience
- Hands-on automotive, aerospace, or related industry experience
- Prototype build, testing, and test equipment experience
- Electrical diagnostics experience
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, schematics, electrical diagrams, and harness diagrams
- Experience using checklists, protocols, and work documentation
- Communication and engineering feedback skills
Responsibilities
- Build high-quality prototype and first-article autonomous technology builds
- Generate work instructions, redlines, and manufacturing or service feedback
- Perform incoming quality inspections for contract manufacturing builds
- Organize and manage prototype test setups and fixtures
- Test mechanical and electrical components and assemblies
- Perform soldering, mechanical assemblies, and subsystem builds
- Manage BOMs and lab inventories
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
