About the Role
You will lead and support a team of software engineers responsible for owning all consumer-facing features for our prediction markets product. You'll partner closely with product managers, designers, and operations specialists to design and launch trading experiences for major global events. You'll define technical roadmaps, establish coding standards, and maintain operational excellence for our prediction market systems. You'll also mentor and develop engineers on your team, helping them progress in their careers and achieve technical excellence. This role is based in our New York, NY office, with in-person attendance expected at least 5 days per week.
Requirements
- Experience managing and leading software engineering teams that deliver high-frequency or high-volume transactional systems.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong front-end focus, including proficiency in modern frameworks and languages.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with product management and design partners to launch user-facing products.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
