About the Role
You will lead and mentor a team of Software and SRE engineers responsible for the Chainlink Deployments Platform. You will drive development and improvement of a Go-based deployment framework and GitHub Actions, manage cross-chain contract deployments and Chainlink node operations, and define operational and security standards. You will partner with product, infrastructure, and data teams to solve integration challenges, provide clear documentation and self-service tooling, and manage delivery using agile planning and transparent communication. You will recruit, onboard, and grow engineering talent while championing reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years experience in software engineering
- At least 3 years experience in a leadership or managerial role
- Experience managing engineering teams focused on deployment frameworks, automation, and operational tooling
- Experience delivering internal engineering tools and platforms for distributed internal customers
- Experience building and leading teams responsible for mission-critical tooling and infrastructure
- Strong understanding of secure contract management, multisig operations, and configuration management
- Experience with both EVM and non-EVM chains
- Ability to define and implement operational standards, documentation, and self-service tooling
- Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders and managing delivery timelines
- Servant-leadership approach and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Preferred: hands-on experience in blockchain technologies, decentralized applications, or Web3 infrastructure
- Preferred: technical expertise in distributed systems architecture and cross-chain integration
- Preferred: familiarity with security best practices and secure artifact management
- Preferred: experience working with teams across multiple time zones
- Preferred: active participation in or interest in the blockchain ecosystem
