About the Role

Work on HashPort Wallet, a Japanese Web3 wallet serving approximately one million users. Depending on skills and interests, contribute to frontend, backend, or research and development while working with production code under senior engineer guidance.

Requirements

  • Fundamental computer science knowledge including data structures and algorithms
  • High intellectual curiosity and fast learning ability
  • Personal or academic experience with React/TypeScript, Go, or AWS
  • Basic version control skills using Git and GitHub
  • Self-driven attitude to identify and solve problems
  • Motivation to explore and select the best technology for the product
  • Experience with Capacitor, Ionic, or React Native is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of AWS and Terraform is a plus
  • Deep knowledge of Web3, blockchain technology, and cryptography is a plus
  • Academic research background in computer science, mathematics, or physics is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Improve and maintain HashPort Wallet features
  • Implement mobile web app features and UI components using React and TypeScript
  • Improve the wallet application's user experience
  • Develop APIs using Go
  • Integrate Aurora and DynamoDB databases on AWS
  • Maintain authentication functionality
  • Research cryptography theory, Web3 papers, and EIPs
  • Write explanatory articles and blog posts
  • Present research findings to the team
  • Implement proof-of-concept projects for new protocols and technologies
