About the Role

You will develop electrical systems for robotic products and prototypes while keeping existing systems operational. You will select and integrate components, create production documentation, troubleshoot electrical issues, implement power and safety solutions, and support manufacturing and system integration.

Requirements

Expertise in BLDC motor-control systems
Proficiency with Altium
Experience with microcontrollers and FPGAs
Knowledge of DC/DC converters and battery management
Familiarity with encoders, force/torque sensors, IMUs, and vision systems
Understanding of EtherCAT, CAN, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C
Experience with harness design and cable management
Signal-analysis and debugging skills using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
Knowledge of high-voltage and high-current safety standards
Experience with thermal management of power electronics

Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems for complex robotic systems
Select and integrate motors, drivers, sensors, and power systems
Create schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams for production
Develop and maintain BOMs, test procedures, and compliance reports
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in robotic systems
Collaborate on system integration
Implement power-distribution solutions
Design and validate safety circuits and fail-safe mechanisms
Support production and assembly
Conduct signal-integrity analysis and EMI/EMC mitigation
