About the Role
You will design electrical systems and create circuit diagrams for robotic systems. You will install and wire electrical components, control systems, control cabinets, connectors, sensors, and cables according to technical drawings and safety standards. You will test, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems throughout development, production, operation, and customer installations. You will coordinate the integration of electronic components and support onsite customer commissioning.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an electrician, industrial electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to work confidently with circuit diagrams.
- Knowledge of wiring, electrical connection technology, and cabling.
- Experience using measurement and testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Experience in robotics, automation technology, or mechanical engineering is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems in accordance with applicable guidelines and standards.
- Create circuit diagrams for robotic systems.
- Install and wire electrical components and control systems in robotic systems.
- Assemble control cabinets, connectors, and sensors according to technical drawings and circuit diagrams.
- Route and connect cables in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Test and commission electrical systems before delivery and customer installation.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults during development, production, and operation.
- Perform regular maintenance and safety inspections on existing systems.
- Coordinate the integration of electronic components into robot structures.
- Support onsite customer installations and commissioning.
- Travel approximately 50% of the time.
