About the Role
You will lead end-to-end electrical design and manufacturing of critical PCBAs. You will prototype circuits, select components, capture schematics, debug and verify hardware, create PCB layouts, integrate electromechanical systems, develop validation plans, and support contract manufacturing production.
Requirements
- Technical degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 2-4 years of electrical design experience on a shipped product
- ECAD experience with Altium Designer, Cadence, or equivalent
- Experience with I2C, SPI, USB, and MIPI
- Experience with component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout
- Experience verifying and validating electrical-system functional requirements
- Exposure to regulatory certification processes
- Supply-chain management and PCBA contract-manufacturing experience
Responsibilities
- Design and manufacture critical PCBAs
- Prototype hardware, select components, capture schematics, bring up and debug prototypes, track bugs, verify functionality, and characterize signals
- Create PCB layouts containing SoCs, microcontrollers, connectors, sensors, and power devices
- Collaborate on electromechanical integration with mechanical and firmware engineers
- Develop specifications and accelerated test plans for product lifetime validation
- Work with contract manufacturers to ensure production of PCBAs and subassemblies
