About the Role
You will coordinate governance outreach, engage DReps and other ecosystem stakeholders, and communicate governance positions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. You will support strategy development, draft governance submissions, maintain decision logs, track actions through enactment, and organize meetings and follow-up. You will also build coalitions, support advisory activities, and travel internationally approximately four to six times per year.
Requirements
- Explain CIP-1694 mechanics and the dynamics between DReps SPOs and the Constitutional Committee
- Demonstrate strong execution follow-through and the ability to close loops independently
- Write clearly and build trust through public communication
- Apply political judgment and discretion
- Use AI capabilities and digital tools to improve workflows
- Have 3 to 6 years of experience in governance coordination community management programme management or stakeholder relations
- Have working fluency in the Cardano governance landscape including CIP-1694 DReps SPOs the Constitutional Committee and treasury
- Have experience launching managing and sustaining high-engagement initiatives such as newsletters community calls and collaborative working groups
- Have excellent written and spoken English
- Have a system for tracking commitments across multiple stakeholders
- Operate autonomously in a fully remote internationally distributed environment
- Be willing to travel approximately four to six times per year for summits community events and team gatherings
- Japanese or other additional language skills are desirable
- Experience with voting dynamics and delegation data is desirable
- Experience in another L1 or L2 on-chain governance ecosystem is desirable
- Experience supporting a board council or advisory body as a secretariat is desirable
Responsibilities
- Run DRep communications through newsletters community calls and forum engagement
- Grow engagement across X Discord and the Cardano forum
- Represent published governance positions to technical and non-technical audiences
- Build relationships with DReps Stake Pool Operators Constitutional Committee members and ada holders
- Coordinate stakeholder communications with colleagues responsible for SPO relationships
- Build coalitions around aligned governance positions
- Support governance strategy and the DRep thesis
- Draft and shepherd CIP and CPS submissions and constitutional amendment work
- Contribute to published governance priorities and voting principles
- Own meeting notes action tracking and decision logs
- Support the Governance Advisory Team
- Track governance actions from submission through enactment and keep stakeholders informed
